SMS Messaging Program & Verbal Opt-In

This page publicly documents how LucraLab’s AI voice receptionist (“Rune”) collects consent before sending any text message. It exists so that customers, carriers, and reviewers can independently verify our opt-in process. Consent is collected verbally, on a recorded inbound phone call that the customer personally places to the business.

How you opt in (verbal consent)

Every recipient of a text from this program opts in the same way — by speaking to the AI receptionist during a call they started:

“Would you like me to text you a confirmation of your appointment? Message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP anytime to opt out. What’s the best mobile number to send that to?”

Your verbal consent and the time it was given are logged, and the call recording is retained as evidence of consent (see Data & recordings below).

Privacy & data sharing

Mobile information (including your phone number and SMS consent data) is never sold, rented, or shared with any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Your number is processed only by our messaging provider (Twilio) for the sole purpose of delivering the messages you consented to. Full details are in our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.

Data & recordings

Calls are recorded with a disclosure played at the start of every call. Recordings and SMS consent logs are retained for a minimum of 24 months to satisfy regulatory and carrier audit requirements, stored securely, and used solely to confirm consent and support the service. Phone numbers are removed from active sending lists immediately upon a STOP request.
